Polish exports to Uzbekistan have increased

Uzbekistan is one of the most important economic partnersof Poland in Central Asia.
A conference was held in Tashkent on the results of bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Poland. The delegations of the two countries confirmed that bilateral trade has increased since 5 years.
In 2009 it did not exceed $ 99 million, while in 2013 it reached $ 146 million, up by +18% compared to the previous year. Polish exports are mainly agricultural products (cereals, fruits, vegetables, plants).
Poland produced 24.2 million tons of grain, some 4.4 million tons of vegetables, and about 3.5 million tons of fruits. Its exports to destinations, first Germany (25.0%) and the UK (6.5%) and the Czech Republic (6.2%) and non-EU, Uzbekistan with 8% .
