Thailand is the world No. 1 with a market share of 93.3%

According to local media, the Office of Trade Policy and Strategy of the Ministry of Commerce reported that Thailand remains the world's 1st place for durian exports, with a market share of 93.3%.

 

In 2022, the country exported fresh durians worth USD 3,219.42 million to China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

 

This year, the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives predicts that the volume exported to China will increase further.

 

 

In Thailand, the durian season runs from April to September.
