Spanish company installs photovoltaic solar panels at its headquarters

The parent company of the CMR GROUP, CMR Fruits (Barcelona), has implemented 1,040 collectors, which in total with the 1,196 already existing, accumulate 2,236 solar panels arranged throughout a global area of ​​4,522 square meters.

 

The Group also has an installation of 2,130 square meters and 1,060 solar panels at its plant in Madrid. Thus, all the plates installed in these two headquarters in Madrid and Barcelona produce 1,240 kW that cover 80 percent of the total energy required for the operation of their facilities.

 

Their implementation makes it possible to generate clean energy that avoids the emission of 550,000 Kg/year of CO2, or the equivalent of planting 35,000 trees.

 

This project is a component of the Corporate Social Responsibility policy of CMR GROUP, and is specified in the implementation of different actions aimed at improving the sustainability of the environment, as well as the social conditions of the communities where it develops its activities.
