The Netherlands imported 51% of total Peruvian pomegranate shipments

Peruvian pomegranate exports increased in volume by about 10% in the first four months of this year. During this period the N#1 destination was the Netherlands which received 51% of the shipments.
According to Agrodata Peru, the country exported during the first four months of this year 29,514,110 pounds of pomegranate worth $51.1 million. The volume exported increased by about 10% from 26,819,105 kg shipped in the same period last year.
N#1 destination was the Netherlands with a turnover of $26,032,394, or 51% of total exports. Then came Russia ($9,416,844), the United States ($2,935,076), the United Kingdom ($2,864,688), Canada ($2,248,337), Saudi Arabia ($1,075,941), Hong Kong ($989,329) and the United Arab Emirates ($860,665).
