Moderate increase in Peruvian fig exports

Peruvian fig exports from January to November 2021 totaled 1.005.319 kilos for a value of $5.663.246. It is a moderate increase from the 793.969 kilos exported in the same period of 2020 for $4.394.009, according to the Agrodata portal.

The main destination of these shipments in 2021 was the Netherlands, with placements for $2.747.107 (49% of total shipments), followed by the United Kingdom with $1.496.050, Germany with $294.218, Canada with $291.978, the United States with $241.663, France with $116.122, Hong Kong with $108.875 and other countries with smaller amounts that together accumulated $367.234.
