Freshuelva expects this season's strawberry production could increase to 300,000 tons.

The association of producers and exporters of strawberries uses information obtained from its members. Freshuelva member companies represent 95%
of the sector.
Surfaces planted with berries (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and blueberries) reach 8,991 hectares this year against 6,830 hectares last season.
