The Spanish regions of Andalusia and Murcia have suffered torrential rains that have severely damaged the agricultural sector.
Torrential rains have led to deadly floods. A few days after these tragic events, it is still too early to make an assessment of the damage
to the agricultural sector.
Thousands of acres of citrus and vegetables are entirely destroyed. In the region of Lorca (Murcia) 20,000 hectares of irrigated land were submerged by mud and crops wre lost.
