Favco USA and Strand Apples reached marketing partnership
This agreement between Favco and Strand families gives Favco USA marketing rights to the Strand, Marlin and Viking brands of apples and pears in the U.S. and abroad. The partnership involves exports of Washington apples, pears and cherries, primarily to Favco customers in Southeast Asia, and imported Australian apples to Strand customers in the U.S.
It’s a partnership of family-owned companies, with Favco controlled by the Deveney and Clarke families. The company operates a trading office in China, and also exports to stores in Hong Kong and New Zealand, and, now, in the U.S.
