Citrum increased its exports in Europe

The company Citrinos doh Umbeluzi (Citrum) is making a first balance sheet of its 2010 citrus fruits season which come to end.
Citrum plans that the exports on European markets will reach nearly 70,000 crates (1,100 tonnes) of oranges and grapefruit, up from the 66,000 exported in 2009.
The company is exporting to markets in the United Kingdom, Belgium and the Netherlands, where it is sold in various supermarket chains.
Citrum try to obtain certification from Globalgap. This certification would allow its products to reach more customers in Europe and to obtain more added values.
