Peruvian banana exports totaled $ 25.6 million in the first two months of 2021

During the first two months of 2021, Peru exported 36.414.873 kilos of bananas for a FOB value of $25.684.995. It is a slight decrease from the 38.121.287 kilos exported in the same period of the previous year for a value of $26.466.627.

The main destination of the supplies between January and February of this year was the Netherlands, with placements for $8.230.000; followed by the United States with $5.501.000, Panama with $4.021.000, Belgium with $2.481.000, South Korea with $1.559.000 and Germany with $957.000, according to a report by the Agrodata Peru portal.
