Don Limón to participate in the largest trade shows of the U.S. and Europe in 2023

The history of Don Limón dates back to 1952, when it all started from the fruit stand in Hamburg, Germany, which until nowadays has evolved to a large fruit business. Today, the company is being run by the third generation of the family, and counts with its own production and packaging sites. The focus on citrus fruits allows Don Limón to expand from a local wholesaler to a global distributor.

In 2020, Don Limón opened a branch in Tanta, Egypt, to control quality management, communication and supply the Middle East region. 

“This is a sourcing office for Egyptian fruits and vegetables, especially sweet potato, pomegranate, and, of course, citrus fruit.”, says Andreas Schindler, General Manager. 

“Our office in India is managing operations in the markets of the Far East. The office in Hamburg is focused on the European region.”, continues Schindler.

“Last year we participated in PMA, New York Produce Show, Fruit Attraction, Macfrut, and Fruit Logistica, and we are glad to come back to these events in 2023 also. We speak Arabic, Hindi, African, and European languages, and are looking forward to meeting our old friends and making new ones.”
