« Taste of Mersin » at Fruit Logistica

The Municipality, the Chamber of Commerce and various organizations have come together to publicize the specialties of Mersin, seaside town in south-east Turkey, with an important harbor and located in a highly agricultural region, where 80 percent of Turkish lemons are grown, but also organic bananas, strawberries and practically all vegetables, greenhouse and field. 

With 54 million dollars in exports, it is Turkey's leading region for exports.

Mersin therefore wants to express its potential and logistic possibilities it offers in the international arena by participating in this fair.

Participants at Fruit Logistica showed great interest to the stand of Mersin and especially its citrus section.
