The embargo is extended for 6 months

The Belarusian government has announced the extension of the embargo on food products from Western countries considered "unfriendly".

 

Belarus extends this embargo until June 30, 2023.

 

The import ban concerns various products from the 27 member countries of the European Union, the United States, Canada, Norway, Albania, Iceland, North Macedonia, United Kingdom, Montenegro and Switzerland.

 

The embargo concerns meat (pork, beef) and certain by-products, milk and milk products, various vegetables (in particular potatoes, onions, carrots, cabbage, beets) and fruits (nuts, nuts, apples ).
