Chilean blueberry exports decrease

Between January and October 2022, Chile exported 90,645 tons of fresh blueberries (-6% compared to the same term in 2021) for a value of $360 million (-26.72%), according to data from the Office of Agrarian Studies and Policies. From Chile.

 

Regarding frozen blueberry shipments, they totaled 48,086 tons (+8.6%) for $130 million (+26.1%).

 

The fresh blueberry is the fourth most exported fresh fruit by Chile in the analyzed period, only behind cherries, grapes and apples.

 

Between January and October 2022, Chilean blueberry exports in all formats decreased -1.21%, totaling 149,412 tons for $654 million (-14.82%).
