The USDA plans an increasing of the American farm produces demand
According to a government report, exports of fruit and vegetables should reach records.
THE USDA plans an increase of 5,1 % in exports in 2011. Producers of the United States are going to export for 6,2 billion dollars of fruit and vegetables.
The demand from Canada, Japan and the European Union is going to continue to increase according to the USDA, in spite of certain tariffs as Mexico just imposed there; Tariffs of 20 % which strikes since this summer apples, grapefruits and American oranges and to dozen products: apricots, cabbages, cherries, grapes, pears, peas, potatoes and strawberries which were already imposed since 2009.
All the American exports of farm produces should rise in 2011. Russia’s drought leads to stepped-up purchases of American grain, the USDA said.
