Transport by sailboat relives in Britain
FJ
In turmoil about the eco-tax on road transport, here is the transportation by ship.
TOWT (Trans Oceanic Wind Transport), company of transportation by sailboats, organizes the second edition of a transportation of goods sailing around the coast of Britain, from 16 November to 4 December 2013.
The boat (The Doe), a tuna sailboat of 22 meters, will make the trip from Nantes to Roscoff with tens of tons of goods. Loading (wine, canned vegetables, onions, shallots) will be sold over the stops and distributed by a network of stores and partners.
This transport by boat is organized with the support of the Regional Council of Britain and will allow the economy of about a dozen tons of CO2.
