The VII World Advocado Congress to be held in Cairns

Held every four years, the next World Advocado Congress will be held in Cairns from September 5 to 9, 2011.

The city of Cairns in the state of Queensland in northeast Australia is located on the Pacific coast. Facing the Great Barrier Reef, Cairns is easily accessible from throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

This seventh edition is expected to attract over 1,000 professionals: producers, wholesalers, importers and exporters. The Congress provides an opportunity for all stakeholders to come together to share experiences and stay informed. Delegates have the opportunity to attend conferences conducted by experts. Growing techniques, marketing trends and studies on the impact of climate change on the future of the sector will also be covered.
