The nettle culture interest Japonese businessmen

This project was developed by the Agency for Development of the Eastern Black Sea Region and supported by the Prefecture of Giresun. According to studies made, this Turkish region of the Black Sea would possess optimal ecological conditions for organic nettle growing.

The first tests are extremely positive. Nettle is a plant that could be used in many industries, especially in textiles.

A delegation consisting of representatives of important Japanese textile companies will come to visit the current facilities to explore opportunities to work together this biological product.
