The main destination of these supplies was the United States, with placements for $27,033,397 (58% of total shipments), followed by Spain ($10,296,930), Colombia ($5,796,261), Chile ($1,401,483) and Bolivia ($1,035,391).
Peruvian fresh onion exports between January and August 2021 totaled 140,609,057 kilos for a value of $46,860,354, according to Agrodata Peru. It is a significant increase from the 96,889,818 kilos ($33,278,595) exported in the same period of 2020.
