Russia bans (in part) Egyptian potatoes

Limiting potato imports from Egypt.

Rosselkhoznadzor , the Russian service health monitoring, has issued temporary restrictions on potato imports from Egypt. Since April 9 , potatoes produced in six areas mentioned in the Rosselkhoznadzor report are  banned in Russia's imports.

The health monitoring service explained this decision by the frequent infringements observed in the field of plant quarantine. That detected bacteria and parasites on Egyptian products.
