The volume of kiwifruit exported will reach 180,000 tons

Expected increase of 3% for the volume of Chilean kiwifruit exported.
In Chile this year, kiwifruit exports are expected to reach about 3% higher than the previous season's 180 000 tonnes.
With regard to the development of this campaign, Kiwi Committee pointed out that it was generally done normally. Exports started one week behind 2018, in week 8. The peak of exports is expected from weeks 16 to 21.
As far as markets are concerned, the data up to week 13 show that the main destination of Chilean kiwis was Latin America with a share of 41%, then the Far East with 28%, North America with 23%, Russia with 4% and Europe with 3%.
