The violent rains that hit Serbia and Bosnia have overflowed the rivers that caused flooding never seen before.
Flood levels not seen since 1000 years, according to the Serbian Prime Minister, Aleksandar Vucicsaid. Some witnesses said they saw a "tsunami", a wall of water more than 4 meters devastating whole areas, about 300 landslides have caused mudslides, bridges were swept away and destroyed roads.
It is still too early to make a reliable estimate, but the Serbian and Bosnian authorities evoke a catastrophic situation. These floods have devastated the agricultural sector and the economies of two countries are still heavily dependent on the primary sector.
