Value of mango chunks exports on the rise while the volume drops

In the first quarter of 2022, Peru's exports of mango chunks showed a slight decrease in volume and increase in value compared to last year, totaling 40,527,313 kilos, worth $78,419,306, according to the portal Agrodata Peru.

 

The source indicates that in the same period of 2021, 42,706,243 kilos of the same product were exported from Peru, for a value of $76,662,090.

 

The main destinations to date are: the United States with $29,420,695 (38% of the total), Canada with $10,594,326 (14%), the Netherlands with $7,667,137 (10%), Belgium with $6,815,149 (9%), Germany with $4,584,753 (6%), Poland with $3,123,053 (4%), Chile with $2,713,866 (3%) and other countries that together accumulated 13,500,326 (17%).
