Freskon connects Greek producers with international buyers from 40 countries
TIF-HELEXPO has already announced the next Freskon edition.
From April 10 to 12, the Thessaloniki International Exhibition & Congress Center hosted Freskon, one of the key trade fairs for fresh fruits and vegetables in Southeastern Europe. With professional visitors from 40 countries and a packed agenda of industry events, this year’s edition once again highlighted Freskon’s growing importance as a hub for the agri-food sector.
The event welcomed 275 exhibitors from 22 countries, and over 2,000 B2B meetings were held, helping Greek companies expand their international partnerships and boost exports.
For the ninth consecutive year, TIF-HELEXPO and FROUTONEA magazine organized the FreshCon Market within the exhibition. This initiative brought together producers and suppliers with buyers from 13 major supermarket chains across Greece, the Balkans, and Southeastern Europe.
One of the fair’s most popular features was its series of specialized presentations and workshops, held in Pavilion 13. Topics included the International Pear Congress, sessions on figs, persimmons, yellow kiwifruit, and expert talks on export strategies, zeolite applications, and updates from Thessaloniki’s Central Market. These discussions offered valuable insights into the challenges and trends shaping the fruit and vegetable industry.
Freskon 2025 was held alongside the LOGISTICS & TRANSPORTS THESSALONIKI EXPO, bringing together professionals from across the supply chain — from production to distribution. This joint event created strong synergies, reflecting the interconnected nature of agri-food logistics and trade.
TIF-HELEXPO has already announced the next Freskon edition, scheduled for April 23–25, 2026. In the meantime, it will continue to support the international reach of Greek produce through the “Freskon Greece” program, which will take part in Fruit Attraction 2025 in Madrid from September 30 to October 2.
