Today beginning of the export campaign of new potatoes from Tunisia, for Alyssa Fruits.

Alyssa Fruits starts its export campaign of new potatoes from Tunisian on January 27, 2014. This year, the varieties produced in central and southern Tunisia on sandy soils are: Bellini and Spunta.

Production forecasts of potatoes in Tunisia for this campaign are very promising in terms of volume and quality.

The export season is from January to April (potato late season) then  from May to July (seasonal potatoes). Alyssa Fruits exports its products in key European markets in West Africa and the Middle East.
