Lufthansa has opened a new centre in Frankfurt for temperature-controlled freight, which is seeing a growth rate of 15% per year.
Lufthansa Cargo in Frankfurt has just opened a new centre for temperature-controlled freight.
The Lufthansa CoolCargo Center occupies 4,500 m2 and has four storage rooms for four temperature ranges and a freezing area.
All shipments are temperature controlled by Lufthansa and will go through the new facilities.
Built in 6 months, the new centre was necessary for business growth. Lufthansa said that shipments of goods at controlled temperature have a growth rate of 15% per year.
