The Russian market is very attractive to African countries

Several African countries have suppliers from Russia, such as South Africa , Kenya , Egypt, Tunisia and Morocco were willing to increase their agricultural exports. Numerous bilateral meetings were held to coordinate the various operations and remove obstacles that hinder the movement of goods between countries and Russia.
Egypt will expand its range of agricultural exports, as Tunisia is ready to supply products to Russia to replace imports from Europe. Morocco, which already exports heavily to Russia ( destination of 12% of its total agricultural exports in 2013) feel an increase to 15% by the end of the year.
Kenya, which exports some products in Russia will also increase and diversify its shipments such as South Africa. Only for its citrus , Russia is the No. 1 customer of South Africa (12 % of total exports go to Russia , 42% in Europe, 20% in the Middle East , 6 % in North America , 16% Asia ), which can be amplified and diversified items (apples, grapes , vegetables) to the Russian market.
Russia offered preferential tariffs on countries joining the Customs Union (SACU Southern African Customs Union) and the reduction of certain procedures. The Africa Trade Alliance organisation ( ATA) will help businesses and African producers to develop into the Russian market.
