Volume and value of Peruvian mango shipments in 2022/23 will maintain the trend of recent seasons

The value and volume of Peruvian mango exports in the 2022/23 season will be the same as in recent seasons, says the Inform@cción consultancy.

 

In the 2021/22 season, exports amounted to 244,781,427 kilos for $299,500,441 and in 2020/21 to 236,770,180 kilos for $297,697,100.

 

The source projects that this season, which began in October and will end in May, will export 240,000 - 250,000 tons of mangoes for around $300 million. The volume record shipped was broken in the 2019/20 season with 244,863,239 kilos.

 

So far in the 2022/23 campaign, Peru exported 1,971,499 kilos in October and 12,878,390 kilos as of November 20.
