Procomer (Comercio Exterior) reported that pineapple exports during the first 8 months of the year increased by 8.4%
Costa Rica's exports continued to grow in 2012.
Procomer (Comercio Exterior) reported that pineapple exports during the first 8 months of the year increased by 8.4% reaching a turnover of $528.1 million ($487 million
in 2011).
The main clients of Costa Rica is North America, which receives 42.3% of exports, and the European Union (18.1%), Central America (14%) and Asia (12.9% ).
