Significant drop in Peruvian Mayocoba bean exports

Between January and November 2021, Peru exported 1,896,455 kilos of Canary beans, also known as Mayocoba beans, worth $ 3,843,613. It is a significant decrease compared to 4,620,468 kilos exported in the same period last year ($ 7,527,908), according to Agrodata.

 

The main destination for these supplies in 2021 was the United States, with placements for $ 2.5 million, at an average price of $ 2.56 per kilo.
