The new container line will carry containers with deciduous fruit
A new container line should soon give to South African fresh fruit branch fast transport alternative to hitherto liaisons with European ports.
A new line will be held by company of Carl van der Westhuizen with cooperation of Ian Wicks.
The new container line will create a links between Cape Town and Tilbury, Rotterdam and Dakar. In the beginning of its service, it will carry containers with deciduous fruit and with the start of citrus season, the service will be concentrated in north port of Durban.
On the ships that will carry the containers, there will be place for 40-foot freezer containers and 200 places for 20-foot containers for dry substances.
