Brazilian banana exports increased significantly in November. According to Secex, the Department of Foreign Trade, a total shipment of 9,000 tonnes of bananas was recorded. This amount to an increase of 51% in October and 28% in November 2018.
This increase is linked to the large volume exported to Mercosur countries, which is not usual for this period.
