Several core categories closed the first half above last year’s levels.
Chile’s fruit exports reached USD 408 million in June 2026, up 1.1% from the same month of 2025. The result ended five consecutive months of year-on-year declines, according to Chile’s Undersecretariat for International Economic Relations, SUBREI.
June shipments recover
Higher exports of fresh kiwis, lemons, apples, pomegranates and pears supported the June increase.
Clementines, oranges and limes also gained importance as Chile’s citrus export season began. The report does not provide separate June values for these products.
Kiwis post the largest increase
Fresh kiwi exports reached USD 217 million in the first half of 2026, up 21.9% from USD 178 million a year earlier.
Fresh avocado exports increased by 11.4% to USD 117 million, compared with USD 105 million in the first half of 2025.
Fresh plum exports rose by 9.2%, from USD 283 million to USD 309 million.
Fresh apple shipments reached USD 354 million, up 5.7% from USD 335 million.
