Carrefour announces plans for Lebanon and Irak for 2012

Majid al-Futtaim Holding, which owns the franchise Carrefour in the Middle East, continues to expand and will be present in 13 countries in 2012.
The holder of the Carrefour franchise for the Middle East, Majid al-Futtaim Group Holding, will open hypermarkets in Lebanon and Iraq next year.
In Lebanon, the first store will be located in Beirut in a new shopping center downtown. The exact location of the chosen location in Iraq is not known.
With these projects, Majid al-Futtaim Group Holding and Carrefour, will be present in almost all countries in the region: Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Iran, Kuwait, Bahrain, Quatar, UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan.
