Exports of fresh asparagus by Peru between January and August 2022 totaled 69,648,888 kilos worth $203,073,487, indicates Agrodata Peru.
In the same period of the previous year, Peru exported 77,993,365 kilos for $234,990,834.
Today, Peruvian asparagus is destined mainly for the United States (63%). Other receiving countries are the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Spain, among others.
