Rijk Zwaan has opened two new R&D facilities in its Spanish site.
Rijk Zwaan is in the last phase of an extensive investment plan in Spain.
Rijk Zwaan officially opened two new facilities in its Spanish site, El Mami, on November 28. The new cell biology laboratory and the laboratory of phytopathology have been completely renovated and expanded.
The cell biology laboratory will accelerate
the development of new varieties and the plant pathology laboratory will identify varieties with the best resistance to limit the use of pesticides.
The opening of these new facilities marks the end of the investment plan in Spain, where Rijk Zwaan has renovated all its research and development facilities.
