Resumption of F & V imports from Gaza

Israel resumes Fruits & Vegetables imports from the Gaza Strip that had been interrupted since 2007.

For some, the resumption of imports can be seen as an aid to Gaza's economy , devastated by the war last year. For others, the resumption of imports will offset the deficit in agricultural products available in Israel. Indeed, because of the set-aside of certain lands in accordance with biblical law , during the year of the Jewish lunar calendar, the Israelis agricultural products are not excessive .

The 1st shipment will be tomato and eggplant , then come cucumbers, courgettes and strawberries.
