Avocado production will continue to grow

Areas increase and  the production will progress.

The areas dedicated to avocados are now reaching 7,000 hectares. The expected production this year is estimated at between 85 000 and 90 000 tons.

A little over 50% of the production, most of the Hass variety is exported. For the coming season, about 75% of export activity will be shared by the company Mehadrin and Galilee Exports.
