The "Dakar Port", the Senegalese capital, and the "Port of Dunkirk," the third French harbour but first French port for importing containerized fruit, renewed their partnership dating from 1993.
According to General Director of the Autonomous Port of Dakar, Cheikh Kante, this new partnership will enable Senegalese producers to find outlets on the European market for the export of fruits and vegetables.
At a meeting with stakeholders in agricultural exports, the various phases to better develop these expeditions were examined. Logistics solutions remain important but the quality of Senegalese production is a major factor. To gain a reputation that will increase demand in European markets and then cause an increase in exports.
