The main destination of these supplies was the United States, with placements for $7,587,199, followed by the United Kingdom ($7,469,743), the Netherlands ($4,971,612), Japan ($327,556) and others with lower amounts that together accumulated $43,844.
Peruvian exports of fresh peas between January and August 2021 totaled 6,155,793 kilos worth $20,399,954. It is a significant increase from the 4,381,809 kilos exported in the same period of 2020 for $14,994,742, according to the Agrodata portal.
