Turkish Citrus at ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA 2013

This fair, which was held for the seventh time in Hong Kong from September 4 to 6, 2013 welcomed about 6500 people coming from 64 countries, and 372 participants representing 10% more than last year.

Turkey has participated for the second time at this fairwithin the framework of activities of Turkish Citrus Promotion Group to expand its pallet of importers, with a stand devoted to citrus, which attracted many visitors.

The citrus export to Hong Kong in 2013 reached 263,000 tons, mainly coming from the United States, South Africa, China and Australia. The export of Turkish citrus reached only 1,632 tons, mainly pomelos and Turkey decided to increase its market share.
