Despite the war situation in their country, more than ten Ukrainian companies are present in Hall 8.2, Stand B-07, led by UBA (Ukrainian Berries Association).

On the 1st day of Fruit Logistica 2022, Mrs. Iryna Kukhtina, President of UBA, received Mr. Cem Özdemir, Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture, and Mr. Martin Ecknig, Managing Director of Messe Berlin, during their visit to inauguration of the show.

According to data from the national statistics service, in 2021 Ukraine produced 2.24 million tonnes of fruits and berries, an increase in volume of +10.7% compared to the previous year.
