Fruitnet widens their range of products.
Belgium
Thursday 01 April 2010
The fruit grower and distributor from Visé, Belgium has, for over 20 years, been distributing belgian apples and pears; but recently Mr Hensen, company G.M. has been looking for a way to evolve.
Fruitnet, which now stands for wholesome and quality fruit, comes from an "intergrated" production which is an environmently responsible way of growing with strict guidelines, a complete traçabilty from the orchards to the sales point, and complete controls from independant counsultants.
The Fruitnet team has decided to evolve by adding citrus fruit to their range of products, and as of April 1st of this year, will also be distributing vegetables to the belgian supermarkets.
Tomatoes and courgettes, along with cucumbers, bell peppers (capsicums), and aubergines will now be seen on supermarkets shelves under the Fruitnet brand name. But the evolution will not stop here, as Mr. Hensen and Mr. Cerfontaine, Fruitnet group marketing manager, without revealing any more information, assured us there will be more addings done to their range of products.
