The record amount of citrus will be imported to Russia this month

The record amount of citrus is planned to be imported to Russian domestic fruit market during New Year’s Eve. This year delivery volume will go up to 2 mln tons, while last year figures comprise 1,7 mln tons of fruits. According to latest data,  current prices for citrus are 16% lower compering to the last year ones. The main exporters of citrus to the Russian fruit market are Spain, China, Argentina, Pakistan, Iran and Georgia.
