In a context complicated by deconfinement, and more spring-like weather than summer in many regions, the producers decided to boost purchases, with a wave of promotion on radio. From Wednesday, July 1 to Saturday, July 4, during peak hours, 30 spots will be broadcast on RTL and will generate 6 million contacts / day.
The promotion will particularly highlight the "Green orchards" peaches whose notoriety is still growing: in the latest CSA barometer of confidence on Fruits & Vegetables, ordered by Interfel and FranceAgrimer, 46% of respondents say they have spotted the logo "Green orchards" and 35% associate it with fresh Fruits & Vegetables, and above all the confidence rate reaches 79%.
The French peach season has already started 4 weeks ago, with exceptional precocity. With more than 23,000 tonnes picked since the start of the season, inputs are up 33% compared to last year at an equal period, and 20% of production is already harvested.
