Citrus at the feast with the 4th Mersin Citrus Festival

The festival, which lasted two days from November 16 to 17, has become a traditional event of the region. It is the minister of the economy that opened the festival, highlighting the importance of citrus whose export accounts for about a third of Turkish exports of fruits and vegetables and the need to add value to these products.
400,000 oranges about 80 tons allowed the realization of citrus patterns on a 1 km long beachfront, under a magnificent sun.
Many promotional activities, including a fountain of lemonade were put in place to appreciate the qualities of citrus and participants from 30 different countries participated with their folk dances.
