Increase in fresh pomegranate exports from Peru

Pomegranate exports by Peru from January to July 2022 reached 49,610,215 kilos in volume and $94,689,202 in value, according to the Agrodata Peru portal.

 

The main countries of destination were the Netherlands, the United States, Canada, Russia, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, and Italy, among others.

 

In the same period last year, Peru exported 38,751,612 kilos of this fruit, valued at $81,174,433.
