Holland constructed greenhouse which doesn't need gas and electricity for heating

The greenhouse of 1.5 ha was constructed in Holland - it does not consume gas or electricity in winter period, Ebronisze.pl informs, the informational sponsor of the international conference "Fruits and Vegetables of Ukraine 2007. Meeting New Leader". The greenhouse was named "Orchid". In winter period the greenhouse is heated by means of energy accumulated in summer period in watery sand layers on the depth 80-100 meters. Warm water is delivered by means of special pumps for the heating of the greenhouse in cold season. The temperature of the pumped water reaches 50 degrees.
In summer period the greenhouse is cooled by cold water in line with the pull-in principle. At the present moment the interest to such technology is very high in Holland; there are numerous orders for the construction of such greenhouses.
