Friday, May 24, the opening of CAAB2, the second tranche of the system that allows to the market of Bologna to hold the largest solar roof in Europe.

CAAB, the wholesale market of Bologna, has the largest photovoltaic roof in Europe. The Solar panels, numbering to 43,750, cover an area of ??100,000 m2 equivalent to 14 football fields and generate a kind of energy of 11,350,000 KWH. The investment cost is 22.5 million euros.
The second tranche of the system will be officially opened on Friday, May 24. This event will also include a press conference, several interventions on the subject of the energy and the mobility in the context of sustainable development, testing of electric vehicles and a lunch buffet.
