Metro has added a new format in the Chinese market, where it now has 50 outlets.
German retailer Metro has launched a third store format in China. Following Metro Cash & Carry for professionals, Metro Catering for restaurants and hotels, it has introduced a new format called Metro Select.
Metro Select is centered on clients and services to better meet their needs. The store offers a
sales area of 3,400m2 just over 8,000 references of which 75% are food products.
The first store is located in Guangzhou, making it the fifth Chinese city to host three Metro outlets. The new site is the 50th Metro store in China.
